There is also a lot of dancing and singing at the festival. The most famous Khorezm dance is “Lazgi”. This dance is characterized by movements on half-bent legs, shaking of shoulders and arms, on which small bells are attached. The history of this dance goes back three thousand years. There is even an annual international festival “Lazgi”, which takes place in Khiva.
